The future of our organization depends on how many volunteers continue to come forward in the coming weeks.

Volunteer, foster, and membership forms are available at Toys and Treasures downtown, please fill out a form and help us help the animals! We still need some more people to cover shelter duty, plus fill in fundraising, animal surrender and adoption and call out response committees! Come to the next meeting on February 8th at 6:30 p.m. at Jack's Place

We have only been in existence for 1 year--but all ready we have adopted out over 70 cats and 25 dogs! There is a never ending need.

To those people who say we cannot close, that Wainwright NEEDS a SPCA--we are saying we need people. We need commitments of time from volunteers to clean the shelter. One morning or one evening every week, so that we can work in teams. WE NEED YOU.

The Wainwright SPCA also needs membership, as all Board member positions will be up for renewal in the Spring, and we do not have enough members at this time to fill them. Contact us and come to meetings. Find out more. Those with non-profit Board experience at any level, most especially with animal experience as well, are REALLY needed. If we do not find enough people soon, this SPCA is in danger of having to fold. As a registered, incorporated charity with so much potential for good, that would be an absolute shame. If you have ideas on how to help--we need you.
